Laughter Meditation 101

Laughing is one of those feelings that is not easy to explain.  If we were to describe the feeling we get from laughing we would describe it as joy, adrenaline, happiness, release, connection.  All of these words are positive descriptions which means laughing is a great thing for us to practice on the daily.

Laughing even helps us physically and mentally.  According to helpguide.org, laughter benefits our health in many ways.

  • Laughter relaxes the whole body.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins.
  • Laughter protects the heart.

We came upon something called Laughter Meditation which is taking the world by storm.  It is known for providing anxiety relief and to help discover joy.  Here is a silly exercise provided by BigVisionShow, to get your endorphin’s going and your day started.
