Gratitude Challenge Winners Announced!

In early December, Theo Rossi issued a Gratitude Challenge. He called on YOU to do something good for yourself and others.  The emails came pouring in immediately– nearly 1,000 in all once the #GratitudeChallenge ended on December 18th.  Nine winners would be chosen for the Gratitude Challenge and invited to hang with Theo in a Google Hangout and receive memorabilia from FX’s Sons of Anarchy.  After reading through every email, and many of them several times, Theo and the #GoGetItLIFE team narrowed down the winners of the challenge.

It’s no exaggeration when we say that we wish we could have selected everyone as a winner.  We are blown away by your stories!  We shed a lot of tears and also had some great laughs.  With the sincerest of gratitude, thank YOU for participating in the Gratitude Challenge.

As we painstakingly attempted to select only nine, we found ourselves at a stopping point unable to narrow it down to nine finalists.   Theo has decided to hold TWO Google Hangouts (nine people each) and has selected 18 winners of the Gratitude Challenge!

In the days ahead we will be sharing the stories of the #GratitudeChallenge winners as well as others who submitted stories, but are not featured in the Top 18.  These stories will be shared in the YOUR STORIES section of the Go Get It LIFE website.

Thank you again for sharing your hearts and taking part in the Gratitude Challenge.  You have each started a ripple effect of good. Thank you!

Thank you so much Theo Rossi & team for choosing me as one of the winners! I just cried as I read my name and was not expecting to win in a million years as I was just so honored when I received the email from your team saying they had read my volunteering stories and watched all my videos and that was overwhelmingly amazing enough! Since my Dad’s passing in 2007..I have continued his lifelong dedication to volunteering for the homeless, the terminally ill, the poor and all those in my community in need and that is truly how I live my daily life! I’m so honored you chose me as one of the winners and this is truly the gift of a lifetime and I hope my “Life of Gratitude” inspires others to do the same. Theo, you are such in inspiration to me in your charity work and shining such a bright light on giving back to those in need and I admire you endlessly for that! So looking forward to our Google Hangout with you and tell you directly how much you inspire me every day! Sincerely, “Gratitude Girl For Life” Keely Field 😉

Congratulations to all the winners. I would like to say to Kendra D. what you are doing is awesome. Coming from a mother that was a raging binging alcoholic, I picked up the addictive personality. I am thank God a recovering addict as well. I have been through my share of things, but with the help of family and friends I came through it. I am now in the midst of starting a non profit organization to speak out and help our youth with similar situations. I’m all about rehabilitation. I believe that given the proper tools and surroundings anyone can get through their addiction.

Congratulations to all the winners! And also to everyone who entered and sincerely does ‘give back’ to their communities. Makes me happy to be a human! <3

Congratulations to the winners! I’ll admit, I’m insanely jealous lol. I just want to put some info out there so that others can help raise awareness.

46 kids in the U.S. alone are diagnosed with CANCER every day.

7 kids in the US lost their battle daily.

Millions of dollars are raised every year for cancer “research” but sadly only about 50% actually goes toward research. Of that 50%, only 4% goes toward pediatric cancers.

As ugly as our world has become, I LOVE seeing all these people give back in one way or another. THANK YOU!!!!
